Cartograph Maps supports the creation of map atlases of up to <strong>60000&#215;60000 pixels<\/strong>. But keep in mind that such a big atlas requires around 30GB of RAM. An example atlas can be found here (245MB!, 30000&#215;30000 pixels): <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cartograph.eu\/v3\/downloads\/misc\/map_atlas_example.jpg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">http:\/\/www.cartograph.eu\/v3\/downloads\/misc\/map_atlas_example.jpg<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Map atlases can be created from <strong>loaded offline raster maps<\/strong> as follows:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Load <\/strong>the raster map (Mapsforge raster, MBTiles, RMap, etc.) into the <strong>map view<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Go to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cartograph.eu\/v3\/map-manager\/\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"709\">Map manager <\/a>and click on the loaded (<strong>active<\/strong>) map.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select &#8220;<strong>Create atlas<\/strong>&#8220;.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select the <strong>region <\/strong>which should be covered by the atlas and confirm your selection by pressing the green &#8220;Ok&#8221; button.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select a <strong>zoom level <\/strong>and the size of the atlas. The higher the zoom level, the more details are visible on the map.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Start the <strong>creation <\/strong>of the atlas. Depending on the atlas size and your available RAM memory size this can take <strong>several minutes<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How to create a map atlas from an online map, such as OpenStreetMap?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>First, use the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cartograph.eu\/v3\/online-map-tile-downloader\/\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"684\">Map tile downloader <\/a>and download the target <strong>region <\/strong>at the <strong>zoom level <\/strong>which you want to use for the map atlas.
