How to convert Mapsforge maps to MBTiles maps

Cartograph Maps can convert raster maps, such as Mapsforge raster, RMap, etc. to MBTiles map files. MBTiles is a common map format which is supported by many mapping applications.

Raster maps can be created as follows:

1. Load the raster map (Mapsforge raster, RMap, etc.) into the map view.
2. Go to the Map manager and click on the loaded (active) map.
3. Select “Generate raster map“.
4. Select the region which should be covered and confirm your selection by pressing the green “Ok” button.
5. Select a minimum and maximum zoom levels.
6. Start the creation of the map. Depending on the region size and zoom levels this can take several minutes.
