How to manually backup Cartograph files
Cartograph stores all files and settings in a single directory. It is save to copy (or compress) the files as a backup.
Platform notes
- Android: Since Android 10 application files can only be accessed on rooted devices, or via an USB cable under this location: “/storage/emulated/0/Android/data/eu.cartograph3/files”.
- iOS: Use the iOS Files app for accessing the files. The files are also accessible via iTunes File Sharing.
- macOS, Windows: The files are located in the “Cartograph Maps 3” folder in the user’s “Documents” directory.
I am a proud user of Cartograph Pro 2. Now I am trying the version 3. The user interface is totally different from the earlier one. I sucessfully loaded the Hungaria turist map with the appropriate style. Next task is to load a recorded track: d:\My Documents\tracks\2022. 01. Klotild körútra 14. 9 59.gpx. How can I accomplish this?
